Days 103, 104, and 105: Sorry!

So I've been lazy the past couple days, mostly because I've been on vacation. It's been beautiful out (despite sunburn and swimmer's ear), so drawing has fallen by the wayside slightly. I do, however, have a few drawings done throughout the past few days, and I apologize for the quality. They were done hurriedly and on a tiny yellow legal pad. I'm here for until Sunday still, so unfortunately this will have to do for now!

Day 102: Joker

Arguably the creepiest piece I've done. Based on a pretty famous picture of Heath Ledger for The Dark Knight. In terms of looking just like Ledger, I wasn't overly successful, but in terms of creating a creepy Joker, I think I did alright.

Day 99: The Dark Knight

I kinda like drawing on a black background sometimes, as previous drawings would suggest. It makes it a little easier to get a sense of realism (though not necessarily in this drawing, due to the exaggeration of the eyes). Still, fun.

Day 98: Dr. Mario Virus's

Another drawing based on Reddit's SketchDaily topic for today, which was "Viruses." These are the viruses featured in Nintendo's 1990 game Dr. Mario.

Day 94: Harry vs. The Goblet

Another Harry Potter drawing: this one involves Harry's first attempt to transform a goblet into a bat. Things do not go as expected.

Day 93: A little late...sort of

Last night I was hanging with some friends and didn't get home until after midnight; that said, I have three witnesses who can testify that this drawing (of Kanye West wearing Chewbacca's fur, a line from his new album) was completed last night prior to midnight.

Expect another drawing later today.

Day 92: Ron Perlman

I think Ron Perlman is one of my favorite actors, due in no small part to his willingness to be a part of just about anything.

I'm glad that Harry ends up with someone other than Cho. She always seemed weird.

Didn't turn out real great (the hard outline doesn't mesh well with the softer shapes of the windows, lights, etc), but I wanted to do a somewhat realistic sketch of a friend's car for a project I plan to tackle in the coming weeks.
