Day 133: Things to come

I'm starting work on something more long-term, so you may notice that some of my entries are the same drawing, just more refined/added to. In the end, I'm hoping it becomes something very cool.

Day 132: Rough draft

Contemplating a very big project. This may be a piece of it, or at least some brain storming/a rough draft of part of it. Trying to get the right style down for it, not quite satisfied.

I messed around with the brush I use in Photoshop (yay technical knowledge!), and I've really been liking it for doodling comics.

Day 123: Samurai

There's a lot of old manga (Japanese) comics that contain some really impressive art. This piece was kind of inspired by that.

Days 118, 119, and 120: Rapid fire!

Today's drawings are all football related; the first is Johnny Manziel (unless you're a sports fan, you're not gonna get the joke), the second is Bill Belichik, and the third was going to be Bill Cowher, but sorta mutated into just a regular ol' ticked off old man.

Quick Update

I've missed the past couple of days due to work and a busy schedule outside of work. Please bear with me as I adjust, and I promise I'll have new drawings posted soon!

Day 117: Mo' money, mo' problems

I started a new job yesterday, which, when coupled with other daily tasks, leaves a little less time to do my drawing. I assure you this was finished this doodle of Indiana Jones yesterday (while watching The Last Crusade), just didn't get a chance to post it! Expect another sometime after 6 o'clock tonight.

Day 115: The North Remembers

Haven't done anything Game of Thrones related in a while. So here's a big image that can be used as a desktop wallpaper, if you're so inclined. I didn't optimize the dimensions, so your results may vary (particularly if you're viewing it on a smaller screen).

Day 114: Another late one

Sorry about this! Was visiting my girlfriend yesterday and didn't get a chance to post a drawing. The second post (Day 115) will be up shortly as well.

Day 113: The Wolverine

My own take on Wolverine. A little rough, but I had to sneak this one in before my midnight deadline.

Day 112: Captain America

For some reason I really struggle to come up with a Captain America drawing that I really am pleased with. In any case, I messed with some of my settings in Photoshop in order to try some new stuff.

Day 111: Menacing Batman

Being a comic book artist would be so cool. That said, I'd probably have to get a lot better at drawing my characters actually doing something.
